UniJos Hints At Possible School Reopening
The management of the University of Jos has given an update on a possible resumption of academic activities following the return of normalcy and calmness in Jos.
This was contained in an internal memorandum signed by the Deputy Registrar, Information and Publications Abdullahi Abdullahi on the 22nd, of September 2021.
Recall the University Senate held a meeting on the 14th September, 2021 in which the management deliberated that immediate security presence is seen within and around the university before the resumption of academic activities.
The school management also reiterated that it’s effort in ensuring physical security of the campus as requested by the Senate and SUG is very much being pursued, while also looking forward to an approval for the immediate resumption of academic activities.
